Tea of the month September 2021: Shou Mei White Tea

Shou Mei is a Chinese white tea made from larger leaves that are naturally dried. These leaves are characterized by a delicate fine hair that is undisturbed by the minimal processing they undergo in production.

Shou Mei has a bolder color and flavor than other white teas, reminiscent of a light oolong tea.

Brewing: 176-194ºF water (hot but not boiling) Steep for 1-2 minutes This tea has a sweet and fresh flavor with a mix of fruity and floral notes.
